Naga became a Fair Trade hub in the Bicol region during the World Fair Trade Day celebration in the area.

Activities were held throughout the celebration week to raise awareness and promote the Fair Trade cause: Fair Trade Fair, photo exhibits, art-making contest, Fair Trade photo coloring for kids, and pina paper card-making.

Fair Trade advocates came all out again in their support for this year's World Fair Trade Day Celebration in Cagayan de Oro city!

Highlights of the celebration were the Fair Trade Caravan, Fair Trade Colloquium for small producers of food craft and wellness products, the partnership finalization for the National Mountain Bike Tournament in August, the Bag Lady! activity, free WFTDay 2010 henna tattoos, the Youth for Fair Trade! party, WFTD Handmade Streamer Graffiti, Fair Trade concert, and Youth for Fair Trade Photo op.

We would like to thank all our partner producers in Bukidnon, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Oriental and Camiguin, all our attendees, and all our media partners for making this year's celebration such a huge success.

Come and celebrate World Fair Trade Day 2010 with us on May 27-29 at the Eastwood Mall, Libis, Quezon City!

A lot of activities are lined up: the Fair Trade Fair, launching of the Fair Trade Mark, a Fair Trade Fashion Show in partnership with "Okasyon", musical performances and many more!

Our gratitude goes out to all the aklanons in welcoming us and making the kick off of the World Fair Trade Day Celebration here in the Philippines a huge success!
